What does an alarm maintenance service include?
- Check history of alarm system since last maintenance service
- Visual inspection of all major alarm components
- Visual inspection of cabling & connections (where accessible)
- Check and “Walk Test” all detectors
- Check battery power supply, including charging rates
- Check mains power supply, including charging rates
- Check operation of manually operated devices e.g. panic buttons
- Check and test all audible warning devices – sirens, speakers
- Check and test remote signalling equipment (where appropriate)
- Verify keyholders’ operation of the alarm system
- Make adjustments as necessary
- Repair any minor faults
- Record all test results
- Return the alarm system to operational status
What’s the difference between Redcare secure grades 2,3 and IP?
- Redcare Secure grade 2 is for the lowest risk level premises, while Secure 3 is for moderate risk level, and Secure IP is for the highest risk level.
Can I change my service from silver to gold?
- Yes, you can upgrade your package after the next maintenance service visit, provided you have paid for any rectified faults.
